Construction completed for Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness
Published 09 November 2016BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and William Osler Health System (Osler) announced today that the Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health and Wellness has reached substantial completion.
Plenary Health – Comprised of Plenary Group (Developer), PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (Design-Constructor), Diamond Schmitt Architects and RTKL, an Arcadis Company (Architects), Honeywell Limited (Facilities Management) and RBC Capital Markets (Financial Advisor) – delivered the design, build, finance, maintain project on budget.
The new facility, located in Brampton will provide patients in Peel with:
- Urgent care, day surgery and diagnostic services, including CT, X-ray and ultrasound, laboratory, pharmacy and neurology/cardiac diagnostics
- Mental health and addictions programs
- Women’s and children’s wellness programs
- Seniors’ wellness programs
- Medical/surgical services focusing on chronic disease management
- Preventative care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma.

The building will be fully operational in April 2017, once equipment and furniture have been installed and the transition completed.
