Plenary Group named runner up for top Americas Sponsor: IJ Global
Published 04 May 2015VANCOUVER, ONTARIO – Plenary Group has ranked number two in the Americas Top Sponsors with three Canadian and US projects closed in Q1 2015, to the value of $1.18 billion.
According to Infrastructure Journal Global’s (IJGlobal) league table report released last week, Plenary Group also figured in the Global Top 10 for Sponsors, ranking number seven.
Plenary Group North America President Paul Dunstan said: “Plenary Group started 2015 on a high, closing the US$899 Pennsylvania Bridges Rapid Replacement Project in January, followed by two major projects – Milton District Hospital and East Rail Maintenance Facility – successfully closing in the same market and on the same day in late March.”
The remainder of 2015 looks bright for Plenary. The firm is Preferred Proponent for the Long Beach Civic Center project in California, and is shortlisted for eleven major infrastructure projects across North America including: the Penticton Hospital and Site C projects in British Columbia, the Calgary Bus Maintenance Facility in Alberta, the Stanton Hospital in the Northwest Territories, the Capital Integration Project in Manitoba, the Schools Bundle and North Battleford Hospital in Saskatchewan, the Etobicoke General Hospital and Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital in Ontario, the UC Merced Redevelopment in California, and the Cook County Hospital in Illinois.
In Australia, Plenary is shortlisted for two major schools projects and a new light rail system in the country’s capital, Canberra.
IJGlobal’s League Tables are published twice yearly and are widely recognised as a key bellwether for the project finance market.
