Plenary US chairman visits Australia
Published 27 February 2014MELBOURE, VICTORIA – Plenary Group’s Chairman of US Operations, Dale Bonner, has just completed a whirlwind tour of Australia.
Mr Bonner travelled to Australia last week from the US to visit some of Plenary’s key projects in the region and meet with a number of senior industry leaders.
Stops on Mr Bonner’s itinerary included Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast where he toured the Gold Coast Light Rail Project, which is currently in testing phase ahead of passenger services commencing later this year.
He also visited the iconic Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) Project currently under construction in the inner Melbourne suburb of Parkville.
Plenary Health’s construction partner on the VCCC Project is a joint venture between North American construction giant PCL and Australian builder Grocon. When operational in 2016, it will be the country’s largest cancer research facility.
Mr Bonner joined Plenary Group last year to lead the company’s expansion into the US P3 market and is California’s former Secretary of Business, Transportation and Housing.
Late last year Plenary Group opened its new US headquarters in Los Angeles marking an important step in establishing the company’s presence in the region.
